A Must Have for Camping

My mother-in-law gave me the best idea for hand washing while camping.
When you have used all your liquid laundry soap, DO NOT throw away (or even recycle) the container!
Fill with water (I would use HOT since it will cool down by the time you get there.) and take on your camping trip to use to wash your hands and or dishes. The container has a "handy" dispenser and already has soap (detergent) in it. Genius!

Thanks, Mom! It works [for her]!works for me wednesday at we are that family

Great tip.

Call me crazy when I say that this both pollutes nature and is probably not the safest thing to use as hand soap.

Sorry, I have to agree with Anonymous. It's very diluted, but laundry detergent is NOT intended for hands or dishes; it's not supposed to go in your mouth. You could do this with DISH detergent, though, or a big refill jug of liquid hand soap or shampoo.

What that almost-empty laundry detergent jug IS good for is cleaning the floor!

This is brilliant! Previous posters-- just wash out the bottle first. I will be doing this next camping trip!!! Thank you!
